I remember how popular the Windham Hill label was, back in the day.  I own quite a few.  Saw several of the artists through the years.  Very talented group.

His album Autumn is one of my go-to albums to audition a component. Shows major differences among virtually all components, especially cables. Neal

I saw him twice in concert.  He was a pure classical folk artist with an incredible attack.  I now know what I will be listening to tonight. 

I remember him, some of his albums and of course the label. Apparently, he was into old timey stuff before he did the New Age music-- Fats Waller, barrelhouse and stride. It was an interesting era for music. RIP.

He was certainly a great player, even if he didn't play in a style that appealed to me.
