Fyne Audio Vintage Classic Gold SP….beat dealer?

Any suggestions on where to buy Fyne speakers?

Ready to purchase, but at $20k+, I’m looking for a deal….not the typical 10% off.

At the price of a small car, looking for a dealer to work with me.

Thanks for your input!

On high end, low volume items dealers have to protect their margins unless there is a manufacturer supported promotion and protect the luxury item price point. Many don’t deal over the phone - they assume they are being shopped.

10% off translates to around 25% of the dealers gross profit, leaving a lot less to cover marketing, commissions, rent, general overhead etc.

You might do better if you buy more than one item or pay in cold hard cash.

Take a look at the Devore o/96 too. The Fyne’s do look really nice. Never heard them but I did own the 501SP and found them a little laid back for my preferences, but very different speaker.

I’m looking at Fynes also, and they don’t seem to hold their value. Seems if I were to buy at full msrp plus tax - I would lose more than half if I didn’t like them and wanted to sell in a year or two. Seems worse than other brands.

I talked to Upscale as well, and they offered 0% off of msrp. And also said they never had any demo sales.

I bought my 501SP's used for $3400, which I thought at the time was a good value. O sold them for $2200 with barely any interest. I'd agree that they don't hold value.
