Furutech Flux50 NCF shoutout

Inserting the above in the power supply feeding digital components or amplifiers is a major upgrade no matter the quality of the power cable employed. I use Nordost Valhalla on digital and Acoustic Revive reference on the power amplifier and in both instances the insertion resulted in substantially improved sounstaging and instrument separations. Try it or you won’t know what your system is capable of.

Clarity, pin point imaging and soundstaging are attributes of Furutech TCS 31 and their DPS line which I have a full loom of; nothing costing 3X has replaced it yet...

I use mine to good effect on my 845 SET amp. Tried many power conditioners with amps over the years, always no go for me, transients always impacted, Flux 50 only means to decrease AC line noise with 845 amps and my 104db Klipschorns.

I use Furutech GTX-D R NCF outlets and had FPS-55n and FPS-032n with NCF R plugs. I also tried DPS-4.1 with NCF plugs. Clarity and soundstage are definitely the attributes of these power cords but I found the combination of all these cables a bit too much of a good thing. There was a bit of an artificial flavor in the highs. They were all broken in with over 1000 hours (break in with Furutech is long and brutal). It’s all very system dependent.
I sold the cables but still use the outlets. Furutech is definitely good stuff but finding the right balance is key. i now use Nordost Frey 2 on DAC and amp and Heimdall 2 on the streamer.

If there’s synergy in your system with these cables, it’s great! Happy listening!
