Furutech Flux50 NCF shoutout

Inserting the above in the power supply feeding digital components or amplifiers is a major upgrade no matter the quality of the power cable employed. I use Nordost Valhalla on digital and Acoustic Revive reference on the power amplifier and in both instances the insertion resulted in substantially improved sounstaging and instrument separations. Try it or you won’t know what your system is capable of.

I found, over the years, that Furutech accentuates the leading edge at the expense of the "body" of an instrument, giving a "cool-ish" flavor to the sound of components. Harmonic richness is not something that the Furutech endows its products with.

That was back in 2008, so perhaps they’ve improved it. I have had the same experience with the fuses and the NCF outlets I own. I like them, but I'm aware that they - like Nordost - have a great "sound," but both cables are leaner than reality.
