The key is not necessarily which freight company, but rather how you pack the shipment.

At 350 lbs. for the pair, palletizing / crating and strapping are a must.

Pack them appropriately and most freight companies will not be a problem as far as safe delivery (stay away from ABF though)...

I run a company that ships $35K medical devices cross- country and internationally. Our track record for loss / damage is exceptional mainly because we take the time and effort to palletize and pack well. And we opt for liftgate service, etc. for most home deliveries. We have had good results with RL and FedEx; with RL our preferred for residential.

Do freight companies provide pallet and banding service for a fee?

I would be purchaser and have no idea if seller has ability to pallet and band.

Lift gate would be helpful.
