Forest audioquest cable any good?

So much controversy in usb cable area.
Seems keeping cable at a shorter length is very important, under a meter.

being used between a nucleus and a chord tt2 dac, which has galvanic shielding as part of connector.

thanks

Please explain why you think that.
Haven’t tried the Forest USB but do have the Cinnamon and Carbon. And I like the Carbon better. I think your Chord tt2 deserves a better cable than the Forest, but it’s your choice, and trying them is part of the fun.
Creeds,
longer usb cables tend not to work very well. Is this not true?
Grass is green and similarly, spending lots of money on usb cables is controversial (connectors and shielding all makes sense)

I don't really know. You made the claim, so I merely asked why you would think that. It appears that you really don't know, either.
Have used usb on pc peripherals and longer cables don’t work, so extending reach of usb is possible by using a powered booster extension hub tethered to a desktop. I have vast and celebrated expertise with usb cables.  My goal is to now use them in my hifi system having recently learned how important they are.  All with a goal of expanding my usb experience resume.

Define good. Likely any cable under $100 you won’t hear a difference, or minimal unless compared to a $7 printer cable. For basic needs like good construction, good connector fit, the Forest works.
