FMC fiber media converter, why a power connection for this?

Small green computer offers an fmc but it comes with a power cord why?

TP Link offers an FMC for about 20 bucks and no power cord.

What’s the difference?

Are there audio file grade FMC? Or doesn’t really matter

They come with a wall wart power supply. I bought them on Amazon for about 20 bucks apiece. The fiber optic cable connecting them was another 15 bucks. The wall wart power supply for one TP Link device was upgraded using an iFi power supply for the wall wart closest to my streamer-dac. Works just fine.
