Eversolo a6 and Lampizator

The Eversolo is better than you would think at it's price.   I have always been a harsh critic of budget Chinese gear, but I have first hand experience with the A6 and it is pretty damn good as a streamer only .  I set one up in my Dad's system , sounds pretty good connected to the DAC in his McIntosh MA 8950

At some point I want to bring my Aurender down and do a head to head comparison.    It sounds great via USB into the Mac's DA2 DAC card.   He bought it to try streaming and ended up loving it so I got him a subscription to Qoboz....

My Dad's Eversolo stopped recognizing his MA8950 amp's DAC card after the last update.   It worked perfectly for almost a year. 

Eversolo answered my request for support promptly but once I told them it was 5 days from end of warranty and I would like to send it in they completely ignored me 

I really though it wasn't a bad device until I needed support.   

There are several threads on USB devices it will not recognize.  Accuphase, Chord, and Mc are still affected .    

Buy a streamer from a company with the resources to support them.  Aurender, innuos, Bluesound.....   companies that only do streaming.   Support is crucial with these devices.
