Ethernet

Hi all. My router only has 2 outlets.I want to run 2 more ethernet cables, how would you do it, a hub or switch. Plus should I locate it at the router, or where I the extra inputs are ?

... and or use a gas discharge tube outside if coaxial.

If it's a router/cable modem you'll need a multi-port switch.  $60 or less. I'd recommend you go with a fiber converter just for surge protection.
