Esoteric Grandioso K1x SE ......when are they going to be available here in the US ?

……surprised that I have not seen many comments on Esoteric’s new SE edition on their products at least here in the US. Sorry Jafant nothing yet. I have noted that I was very seriously looking at the Grandioso SE but thankfully switched to the Accuphase separates the DC DP 1000 and very happy that I did . However I am still interested in the sonic characteristics of the new Grandioso SE.

……why I want to call Music Direct ? My question was to see if anybody here at Audiogon had the player and what does it sound like ? I was not looking for a dealers opinion . Thank you just the same …..

......just following up on this thread as I am the original OP. I am curious if anybody has hopefully received by now the Esoteric Grandioso SE CD player. I have not seen anything about this player anywhere. Things worked out for me as I ended up as I had noted with the Accuphase separates the DC DP 1000 and very happy but came real close to the Grandioso SE. So if any member took possession of this player drop a note and let me / us know what they think of the sound and where Esoteric is heading sonically with their players.

I am very happy that you made the right choice. I used to own Esoteric players and the transport reliability just wasn't what I paid for. Very disappointing.

Hello Jafant - I hope all well and nice to hear from you. I am going to keep that information private for the time being as he has done a great job, but was wondering if anybody rose had ordered one before me if they have revived theirs and what their first impressions were . Esoteric was shipping them back in November of 2023 but things have changed here in the US once again so started the thread to see if anybody had done inside information.

……this seems to be a reoccurring theme with Esoteric here in the US. I must admit that I am surprised to hear this . 

I know the new distributor was having some issues with getting their import / customs process in order.  I have had a K-03XD on order and it got hosed up.
