Equipment scratches

I recently picked up a demo/used Luxman CDP (silver aluminum)---however, there are a few scuff marks (scratches) near the back of the unit. Is there a way to minimize these scratches? I realize they can’t completely disappear, but getting them close to that would be great. Thanks in advance.

You could try very fine sand paper brushed with the grain of the aluminum..
