That's an awful lot of also-rans. When you are done flipping and ready for something satisfyingly good enough to keep you might want to consider whatever Synergistic is within your budget. They are for some reason considered expensive. Never have been able to figure that one out. They have time and again beat out much more expensive wire, and that has held true as I have moved up the audiophile food chain from budget to fairly high end. Been making them long enough there's plenty of old ones out there at very good prices. When you're ready.

I'm trying out the O Nestian xlr's with the new terminated ends which are up against my Morrow MA4 xlr's , So far they sound great at just over 150 hrs on them but jury is still out. I also in addition to the xlr's I got the Ocean power cable to try against a PS Audio AC12 on my amp for the price I just had to try it but the AC12 still has it's job until I try another Clarity Cable Vortex which already replaced the AC12 I had on my power conditioner. What are you liking about the cables so far? |
You might get better responses if you use the company's proper name... Audio Envy. I'm using 2P and Mega 3P power cords with great success. I'm also pleased with the Audio Envy digital cable. Since you are already using the IC's, you might find additional Audio Envy cables will be "synergistic" with your system. |

I have owned a few and replaced them with other brands. I do like the newer Atmosphere line. Great for source components IMO. I have one Audio Envy power cord. Just got it a couple of weeks ago. So far it is nice and open sounding, somewhat like ribbon speaker cables. |
I bought a single RCA and the phono cable. I compared extensively to the VPI phono cable and I like the Audio Envy better. It's fuller and warmer but also more transparent. The VPI/Nordost cable is thinner sounding but also a little dull and closed in. I liked the interconnect too best from my phono to pre. Same basic sound compared to the other cables I have on hand. Grover Huffman Empress loses to the Audio Envy cable in my system. The Interconnect is a great price. I really wonder what their speaker and power cords sound like? I have some very expensive SR UEF power cables would be interesting to see how Audio Envy might compare. |
