Ed Shaughnessy - RIP

Just heard he passed away. I used to be a big fan of him, Doc, & the Tonight Show Band. One of my favorite Big Band cuts (listening to it right now!)is 'Sax Alley' from the 1st Tonight Show Band CD, a smokin' tune featuring Pete Christlieb & Ernie Watts tearin' it up! At the end of the tune, the band stops on a dime, there's a pause and than the band just starts laughing, led by Shaughnessy! I recognize his laugh from having heard it so many times on the Tonight Show. RIP.
