Dylan is Dylan, if you don't ''get him'' you won't understand him. All I can say, I hope he lives forever, for there is definitely nothing behind him. It is a sad state of affairs when I hear that Eminem ( or whatever he is Marsahll Mathers ) is the voice of the current generation. We are all in trouble, not to mention my future Social Secuity payments. FOREEVER YOUNG BOB !

Garebear, Eminem is just a two dimensional pop creation, certainly not the place to seek any kind of true creativity. Yet, I remain optimistic. Certainly, we are not in the 60's. I think we just have to get past all the immediate junk that is available and look a little deeper. It's there, and it has a life of it's own. If it's honest, it will touch enough of the "current generation". Even NYC's mayor, Rudy, who would like to impose his standards on the rest of us, can't stiffle the creative spirit. Let him try. It will be here long after he is gone.
