dust accumulation on scanspeak revelator tweeters

Has anyone used compressed air to clean a scanspeak revelator tweeter?  I was thinking of using a really light paintbrush but the darn things look so sticky I am afraid to touch it with anything for fear it will stick.  i would think that playing them would blast the dust off. I would just leave it but i am afraid it will become permanent.  Or should i just get a girlfriend?
