DS Audio Ionizer - Any Experience?

Interested in getting any feedback on the effectiveness of the DS Audio ION-001 .  

I like the theory of static reduction, but not sure how to effectively measure the actual performance ??   Certainly not inexpensive, but if it works . . . . . . . ?!   

I have seen the earlier discussions from a couple years ago, but hoping for any updated experience.

I got a laugh  from a review-

"While $1800 might seem somewhat pricey, the ION-001 gives good value, as it completely removes static, and for a price that, if we consider those three-hour listening sessions, works out to about 50 cents a day. "

Well that justifies the cost..I'm  in!😂

Static electricity issues varies amongst users, so needs are not universal.

Regardless, I plan to purchase either the DS or the CSPort Static Eliminator IME1
