Donald Fagan The Nightfly Ultra One-Step

Got my copy today.  This is the first version of this album I have ever owned but I am quite familiar with it as my roommate in college had it and played it quite a bit.  My formative memories recall this as excellent pot smoking music.  ;)
I will say the sound is remarkably clean and lush on this release.  The vinyl is so quiet I have to strain to hear any hint of it with the volume up loud.
I can't say this is my favorite genre of music but hearing a recording sound this good is a treat.
Anyone else get a copy of this?  Please report your findings!

Finally got around to cracking the seal on mine yesterday. I was a little apprehensive about this purchase (first generation digital recording and all) but WOW does this LP rock! Super quiet pressing, excellent dynamics and gobs of inner detail. I feel like I'm hearing it for the first time. Great ambience but a little lacking in stage depth and air (digital artifacts?) but overall I am super pleased with this recording. Excellent packaging too. So glad I got this one!
Truly astonishing, I have never in my life heard vinyl sound this good. It really sounds like a master tape; background noise is virtually non existent, dynamics and FR are as good as it gets. The best way I can describe this is; sounds like the very best of digital except with that glorious warm analog sound.

I also have the Bill Evans MFSL one step LP, same comments as above apply.

Looking forward to the next MFSL one step LP release. Sincerely wish I had signed up for the Santana Abraxas one step LP. If anyone has one to sell, let me know.
It's a lot closer to the analog sourced, first (2) UD1S, than I thought it was going to be.

Ultra dynamic and clean.  GREAT bass and what a noise-floor!  Very, very quiet.

One of my favorite albums.  I have it on just about every vinyl issue known and this is indeed the best.

Highly recommended!
Mine came yesterday....can't wait to break the seal (though I just saw a sealed copy posted for sale here for $699. Are they sold out already??
I heard some tracks from this just yesterday at Soundsmith. Yes, the sound was clean and lush ... and unbelievably quiet through Peter Ledermann's strain-gauge system.
