Does your system sound better or worse?

When you are drunk!

When it sounds worse---while I am drunk--it usually means that I have a whole lot of fixing to do the next day.

It is a bit like the proverbial "Drinking and Dialing" (on the phone):major regrets........
The volume most assuredly goes way louder than necessary....then i proceed to kick my self the next day. After i clean up all the cds all over the place.
Don't know if it is better, but it is definately louder....and a very good way to fry a few resistors and a tube or two.
I always have a designated listener, and they tell me it sounds pretty damn good. Friends don't let friends listen drunk. Please, hand over your remote if you plan on having more than one or two drinks tonight. Your family and neighbors will thank you.

Marco
That was good Marco. Now you got me thinking, I wonder what my system sounds like sober?

Macbeth Act 2, Scene 3, it provokes, and unprovokes; it provokes the desire, but it takes away the performance...

Coffee, too much salt can also be bad but none of this stops me....
Bbro - that reminds me of that Tom Waits tune from Small Change titled, "The Piano has been Drinking (not me)":

The piano has been drinking
my necktie is asleep
and the combo went back to New York
the jukebox has to take a leak
and the carpet needs a haircut
and the spotlight looks like a prison break
cause the telephone's out of cigarettes
and the balcony's on the make
and the piano has been drinking
the piano has been drinking...

and the menus are all freezing
and the lightman's blind in one eye
and he can't see out of the other
and the piano-tuner's got a hearing aid
and he showed up with his mother
and the piano has been drinking
the piano has been drinking

cause the bouncer is a Sumo wrestler
cream puff casper milk toast
and the owner is a mental midget
with the I.Q. of a fencepost
cause the piano has been drinking
the piano has been drinking...

and you can't find your waitress
with a Geiger counter
And she hates you and your friends
and you just can't get served
without her
and the box-office is drooling
and the bar stools are on fire
and the newspapers were fooling
and the ash-trays have retired
the piano has been drinking
the piano has been drinking
The piano has been drinking
not me, not me, not me, not me, not me
Bbro, I hope your system sounds better when you wake up in the morning than my Friday night date looks when I wake up on Saturday morning. Drinking is such an evil thing! :-)
