I value the input of several posters here.  I really wish there were a way to block the rest. 

A way to upvote / downvote posts might be a good start.

and sans upvote/downvote, not removing comments would be the only fair solution to free speech and a somewhat level playing field. Outrageous, wildly insulting comments remain on these threads forever while fact based comments have been deleted because they hurt someone's feelings - i.e. they are bothered by the truth.
