Does anyone know what Elton John's "Tiny Dancer"

I don't know for sure, but here's what I heard. Can't remember my source. Not very reliable, am I ? :-)
Elton John doesn't write the lyrics, just the music. The lyrics were written by Bernie Taupin. Apparently the "tiny dancer" is Bernie's wife.
That's just what I heard. Anyway it's a great song.

Yup, her name was (is) Maxinne Feibelman.

Thanks for the info everyone; very interesting. I see that Maxinne Feibelman married Bernie Taupin so apparently "Tiny Dancer" was a love song afterall. Anyone know where Maxinne Feibelman is from? Sounds German.
