Not one of those finger, girly claps but a real solid palm-on-palm clap. Seriously, it's got to be one of the toughest things for a transducer to do convincingly. I've got $30K hybrid speakers and over 400 wpc that can slap my head back but I'm not sure they can do that. Interested to hear from horn, dynamic, and ES owners.
The best recorded hand clapping I've heard is on a Dave Grusin album called "Migration". The last five bands are a suite from his "Milagro Beanfield War" soundtrack. The last track, "Fiesta" has the best audiophile hand clapping I know ;--) .

I concur - Dave Grusin stuff is just awesome in terms of fidelity (not his live stuff though). Grusin's "Homage to Duke" is such high quality audiophile stuff!
