Do you Think Altec model 19 is outdated speakers ?

I'm a big fan of Valencia's and own a set of heavily modified ones. They do about everything right but know going in, they need added bracing, better sound insulation, upgraded internal wiring and obviously upgraded contemporary aesthetics. They can use some added weight to deaden the cabinets too. With the right electronics though, they are truly sublime and for my listening habits are pretty terrific. Yeah, surely not for everyone but when done right, Altec Valencia are pretty special. Just my opinion
