For me, I have the A6 and i simply love it. It is my main streamer, and I use it every day 18 hours a day. I don’t shut it off. I have it for 1.5 years now.

I have an Eversolo A-10 in my system (ARC LS-28 and VT-80SE) and am very pleased with its build quality, sonics and overall capabilities. I've had no issues with it but there may be some folks who have trouble using all of its features due to relative complexity of its software. It's more like a computer than a last generation DAC. It integrates seamlessly with Roon using Small Green Computer Sonic Transporter I9 as a Roon core. I found the software overall excellent with updates every few months so no issues there. Since I have an IT background, I may be more comfortable with its extensive features than some folks. What sort of issues are folks running into that requires factory support that your dealer can't provide? |
I bought the A6 because with HDMI I can stream multichannel on my Meridian system. But then I found out only USING Roon. No one can answer why I can't stream multichannel directly from the apps in the eversolo, like Apple, Qobuz and others that offer Dolby encoded stuff. The Facebook group is for newbs. But I do appreciate it's multiple output features so I I can have it connected to various systems when needed. |
Just saw this Absolute Sound review of the A10 and it’s very positive and it really is an impressively feature-packed, high-value product. Of course in typical TAS fashion he fails to compare its sonic performance to anything else, which greatly diminishes the usefulness of the review IMO because that’s where the rubber meets the road. Anyway and regardless, on the surface it does seem overall to be an impressive package, just hope nothing goes wrong cause it ain’t Innuos or Aurender service here — kinda like walking on eggshells. https://www.theabsolutesound.com/articles/eversolo-dmp-a10-music-streamer-and-dac-review/ |
