Do I need to replace tube socket in my amp?

So I previously started a discussion "Did I just ruin my amp". I thought everything was good and that I just needed to replace the power tubes but recently I have been hearing some crackling coming from my speakers. When I took out the tubes I noticed what looks like melted metal bridging two of the pin sockets which also looked burned. I assume this is what is making the tube sound like crap. If I am correct anyone know where I can get this fixed in LA and approx costs? By the way the amp is a used Melody el34. Thanks.

hi westside, try calling 'solutions' on sunset blvd. a few blocks east of vermount ave. 3236664161. if this is the wrong number i guess you can google it.
Upscale Audio in Laverne, Ca. should be able to fix your amp.  Good source for tubes as well.
Jond thanks!  Not only does it seem that one of the techs is still around but we are both in Culver City so he’s 5 minutes away tops!
Glad to see I am on the correct path. If anyone can suggests places to get it fixed that would be great.
Sound like that's what happened any competent tech should be able to fix that no problem and you may want it checked over to make sure there are no other issues. I am sure there are plenty of places in LA to get the work done I'm sure others will have some recommendations.
