Do I need these Wharfedales?

I’m moving in 2 weeks and already have a nice set of DCMs. Do I really need to buy these untested thrift store speakers and pay to ship them across country? Please help! Model W70D, cones look great, purple theaters. Walnut finish in great shape.

For some reason there is no button to attach photos in this message editor window (??)

Thanks, all, for the sage advice. The last thing I need is to haul two more heavy pieces of furniture with me, which those Wharfedales surely are, though beautiful as they may be.
My DCM CX-27s and Altec Lansing bookshelf setup is more than sufficient for my needs, especially during a relocation!

I’d like to hear those sand filled suckers. You should dump the sand, ship them, restore/replace the caps and level controls, test, fill with sand!

truly enjoy or sell restored after you have had your way with them.

Pass on those Wharfedales! If you have DCM Time Windows (like me) they are superior speakers! Better than any Klipsch! The DCM Time Frames are also worth acquiring! I have the TF500's on hand, along with the TW 1A's.

No, move than buy something local. Preferably newer, maybe some Cornwalls.
