If someone is going to ditch their class A system because of heat, I guess a tube system is kicked out the door too! Really, the only drawback I can see in a class A is energy waste from heat dissipation. Enough it may raise the electric bill. However in this forum that's not a problem .

Will you never buy a Class A Amp due to Heat concerns?
I only have a class A/B unit that does Class A up to 6 watts with almost no heat so really can't speak for those who have used in the past or currently own and run Class A Amps.
