Distinguished Frequencies

Interesting Findings:

At the October 2019 Audio Engineering Society convention in New York—just concluded as I write—Yuki Fukuda and Shunsuke Ishimitsu, both of Hiroshima City University, presented results that show quite clearly that listeners can distinguish sounds encoded and reproduced at different sampling frequencies.

Listening to white noise seems like a strange choice........I wonder if the noise sounded better at higher sampling frequencies?
White noise seems like a smart choice to me. The purpose of the test was to ascertain if there was an audible difference between different sample rates, not whether any "sounded better."
