Disagreements and Conflicts between Audiophiles have we lost our brotherhood and maturity?

I looked back over my posts and even my audio business dealings over the last 5 years and it seems like we have lost our ability to peacefully disagree or resolve disputes like grown men. Some of my best friends in this life are audiophiles and I enjoy the gear, the music and the brotherhood. I don’t enjoy the senseless spats. The inability to resolve conflicts and the people trying to destroy peoples business and reputations. Thoughts?

@ all_y'all...it's been a great read in this space where all basically agree that 'civility' is A Good Thing in this format....
Been in 'chat places' since late '90's...Tempers become 'flames', fur strokes misunderstood....  Unfortunately, not uncommon.
Beliefs challenged, misconstrued skewered...*Foom!*  Off & running....

@barts ....and leave it for us to watch and hopefully endure despite....
The fire ants in HOU were just another thing to leave behind.  The rain and floods were already getting more common, I'd hit the ceiling in terms of who'd be less of pain to work for or with....

Not mentioning getting to There from Here....I 10 has been widened enough for commercial aircraft to land....IF the traffic would bother to Yield....

...and even Then.... (Yeah, LA v HOU....more or less like any other major Shity...

@snapsc Bingo...👍...but the commentary on 'the subject(s) at hand/screen can still be valuable and desirable...  Whether or not any humor is tagged on the postings do vary.
I'll admit to being a vandal of sorts.... :0
