What fuzztone said, but i can add that i slightly preferred the addition of achromat to plain acrylic plater when i had a Pink Triangle turntable.

Delrin platter with Mat
Would a Funk Firm Achromat on a Delrin Platter be likely to improve the sound? (It seems Delrin platters are often used without mats, although I am not clear why this is the case.)
