DbPowerAmp-Purchase alone or with add ons

I got suggestions to use DBpowerAmp to transfer my CD's to my PC. When I go to purchase, there is an option to purchase Perfect Tunes.
Is it worth it? or is the basic download good enough?
I was advised to use JRiver as a playback, too
