My experience with Dali’s in showrooms is that they are tuned to be exciting speakers. They are bright and measure as such. I have never heard the in-walls though.
This is not a negative thing in the right circumstances. If you want low level listening with smaller amps this can be ideal. If you will use them with a HT with room correction they will also perform admirably. If your goal is long listening sessions at full range you should move along.
You should avoid overly bright or lean sounding gear. Modern ARC, Parasound NAD and Anthem would probably be good matches.
