Well, this is not an actual vinyl, since it’s not pressed, not a hot stamper, you know. Nothing new here...

I prefer to cut an acetate on Neumann lathe (for 25 EUR for 2 sides on lacquer ’7 inch disc) operated by people who actually make master disc for vinyl pressing for many record labels.

However, acetate is not vinyl, it does not live as long as vinyl.

So i prefer vintage vinyl to any acetates, dubplates etc .. that any pressing plant or disc master cutting studio can make for us in any format ('7, '10 or '12 inch).  

And by the way Vestax made portable cutter about 20 years ago and it was available for everyone. The quality is nowhere near the vinyl.
