Complimentary 2nd Cartridge/Tonearm for Dr. Feickert Blackbird

The Schick is not a very good arm. I have listened to the 12" at length. It sounds like porridge - thick and gooey. Even a cheap Rega arm would blow it away.

FR64 in good condition is a good option.

Jelco TK series are quite good - some still available if you look around\

Consider a Miyajima.  It would provide an excellent experience that would be a nice contrast to the Hyperion.  I currently have a Madake that is very smooth, detailed, and some could consider slightly on the warm side.  The Miyajima line tends to have this wonderful presentation down their line.  I currently employ a Ortofon Windfeld Ti on my second arm and I am considering the Hyperion to replace it to have as my contrast for the Madake.  Current turntable is a dual arm Origin Live Sovereign. 

You could also consider a Koetsu cartridge. Not sure of the effective mass of the Schick. The one below might be higher mass, or you could look for a used Fidelity Research/Ikeda

Schick “12 inch designed for SPU (~32g with its shell) and Denon 103 series. Both very low compliance, just use the heaviest possible headshell with Shick for Miyajima (or any low compliance cartridges.

But “9 inch Schick is lighter indeed, you’d better but longer and heavier Schick tonearm. As you said you can’t use longer than “9 inch Schick :( 

Fidelity-Research is definitely better than Schick, FR 64fx almost always available in better condition than older 64s. I use both. Great tonearms! 

Maybe you have the Schick 9" already? If so bear in mind the 9" Schick is medium mass not high mass...when matching carts.
If not, consider an FR64S as the basis for the cart search. Seems perfect for your goals.

Miyajima Shilabe or Kansui for ’12 inch Schick will be completely different and on the warm side.
