In regard to the thought that less wattage is required for class A; a watt is a watt- doesn't matter whether it's tube,ss,or a hair dryer. In my opinion if you're used to tubes
the class A amps would be the way to go. The tonal character of a ss class A is going to be a little closer to the tube sound.
You might want to look in the "Systems" section for other Adagio owners and see what they're using also.
