Cerious Technologies NEW Graphene Cables

Now, this is not a advertisement, just a posting sharing my experience on some well made great sounding cables at a very reasonable price. Besides, I don't think Cerious Technologies is set up for a big influx of cable orders.

But, if you get the chance to try these cables, please do.

I have been interested in the newer cables coming out that are using Graphene as a conductor. SR cables seemed interesting, but I always hated the way there cables had all those extra wires (with the active shields and such). I then noticed an ad early in I think November or December from Cerious Technologies for Graphene cables. I investigated how the cables were assembled and it seemed like quite a laborious process.

I ordered (with a 30 day money back guarantee) the balanced Graphene interconnects, and boy did they impress me. Such depth, soundstage, realism, frequency smoothness, effortless sound. I was truly impressed!  I now have a complete loom of the Cerious Technologies Graphene cables. That is; interconnects, speaker cables, digital cables and power cords.

I ended up selling all of my other cables and to those of you who have read my postings know that cables have always been my curiosity.

So, as I began this post, let me again iterate, I have no alliance to the company, my posting is for those of you looking for an great alternate high quality Graphene made cable without spending a fortune.

Anyone trying to contact me I am away at a Funeral and will return Monday. I will respond to the trolls when I get back. Perhaps you can revel in my loss until then...Photons for God's Sake...
Always 30 days money back. I am easy. Just talk to me. If you need more time just let me know. Life should be low stress...No re-stocking fee - only Santa has a right to charge that...

Hi everyone...Bob from Cerious. I wanted to let everyone know that starting this Friday (March 31) we will be shutting down for 11 days to expand and train newbies who will be helping produce raw conductors and eventually complete assemblies. We have been tripping over each other, boxes, and general parts trying to keep up. It is time to get organized and re-stock! All orders placed to this point will be shipped before we shut down. Communications will be spotty as we will be in full shut down mode but will try to keep posted. We will be better able to serve you when we are back up and running and (NO!) we are not going out of business and (NO!) it will not be more than 11 days. Thanks so much in advance for the patience...
Bob
Hi everybody. We are back! I apologize to anyone caught up in our shutdown for lack of communication. We will be much better at taking care of you in the future, though, because of the changes we have made in our production processes. Thank as always...

We are getting up and running now and will be caught up by Monday. GE SC will ship in about 7 days after this point...
My response to JG:
This is someone who got a set of 10 foot GE speaker cables and asked repeatedly if he could extend the trial period which I said "yes" to twice. He admitted that he really needed a 14 foot set and returned them. If you have a trial period in exchange for me offering returns you bear a responsibility to return them in as close to new condition as possible. If I were selling the set he returned on Audiogon they would have to be rated a 6/10 as they were utterly trashed. My wife insisted I only refund 1/2 of his payment to reimburse us for the damage done but that is not me and I refunded all of it. He "ordered" his 14 foot set along with the "understanding" that he would need more time with this set - likely 60 days or so - so he could get a clear idea if these were going to work for him and of course if after 60 days he decided to return them (likely in a similar condition he returned the first set...) I would just have to eat a custom length 14 foot set that is trashed like the first set. Kind of brings to mind the expression "Fool me once...". Being a Seinfeld fan I responded "No soup for you!"
There now "JG" do you feel better that the whole world now knows how put upon you have been and poorly treated by that ruthless capitalist Bob Grost? Sleep well my friend knowing that everyone here will have had a similar experience dealing with me and will take your side. I lay here exposed - yes I am an unreasonable jerk! OK...time for me to return to the Bat cave to plan even more ways to trick unsuspecting Audiophiles out of their hard earned money. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!

aniwolfe you are a stand up guy. I will get you some day into the Cerious camp, but in the mean time feel free to unwrap the labels - just don't drag them behind your car. At least that is what it looked like JG did. My son appreciates what JG did, he got the cables free (I couldn't sell them...).
They are really good for jumping rope...especially the negative conductors which are really heavy...
So I took aniwolfe's recommendation and used the GE SC to jump rope. I went to the local elementary school and jumped rope first with a normal jump rope. The blacktop had a glare from the sun that was disturbing and the noise from the kids playing was distracting enough to make it hard to concentrate. But when I switched to the Cerious Technologies Graphene Extreme to jump rope...OMG! The glare was just...gone (!) revealing even blacker blacks and the noise from the kids was at least 20 db lower making it easier to to hear their individual voices that expanded before me in a huge soundstage. Unbelievable!
We are all good and while we have hiccups from time to time I love my customers - all of them - and count my blessings everyday. I am so lucky to make a living doing what I love and would be doing anyway. Thanks to everybody... (the jumping rope thing was meant to be a joke and I was poking fun at myself as mush as anyone). Happy Friday!!!!!!
Break in time is very system dependent. For instance some amplifiers require 1/2 Volt at the input to output 100 watts and some require 3 volts at the input to have the same output. Most cd players have a fixed output limiting the range of dynamics versus a link from preamp to amp which will bring all sorts of voltages into play. Low efficiency speakers will require pumping 200 watts through the SC while horns combined with SET amps may never see anything more than 4 watts! Low impedance speakers will pump lots of current while higher impedance speakers will be voltage driven. Believe me when asked by a customer "How long will these take to break in?" we have no freakin clue! The truth is they will be broken in when they break in. All we can do is give "guidelines" of 100 hours or so which is our way of saying "patience Grasshopper...".

Hello everybody and Happy Cyber Monday! Well...you have asked for it and they are finally here. I take great pride in introducing Graphene Matrix, our all out assault on audio nirvana.
I developed Graphene Extreme as a hobby to better design loudspeakers and thanks to all of you they became a hit. Graphene Matrix is a serious (Cerious...) product that I am very proud of. When I began the development of this product I frankly did not know how much Graphene Extreme could be improved. Even I was surprised at the difference.
You cannot compare the "sound" of each as my goal of a cable with no inherent sound - only transparency - has been successful. Graphene Matrix simply gives you - more.
I noticed first the difference in background vocals and harmonic textures. The background vocals were not one blended chorus but individual and distinct voices floating in space.Recording after recording was met with "I never heard that before!'. Of course I am biased, but would never sell anything not worth its cost. The GM are very labor intensive and I price everything by its intrinsic value (what it costs to manufacture) not its comparative value (it costs $100 to make but other high end cables cost $4000 so we will charge $4000...).
I want as many as possible to be able to experience Graphene Matrix so I have included in our pricing a 100% trade in value on our Graphene Extreme - no matter how long you have owned them. If it has been recently purchased we will even pay for return shipping so you will have enjoyed GE for free. In this way I can show how much I appreciate my customer's business. Ads are up on Audiogon and we have our new website up and running. Drop me a line or just post questions. Very proud and man I need a nap!

Hi everyone, Bob from Cerious. We got swamped with the new Graphene Matrix and have neglected the Graphene Extreme blog - but no more! I apologize for the lack of response and now that my son is fully up to speed am getting caught up. I want to let everyone know that we are getting a lot of 8 foot sets of GE speaker cables back in trade. We go over each set cleaning them up and getting them back to close to as new condition. So if you are interested please let us know. They are an incredible deal at $649 set new, but an even better deal at $499 set including shipping within the US! Let us know!

Just to let everyone know I have pulled all the ads for the trade in Graphene Extreme. All I got was questions, questions, questions with "customers" (you really cannot call someone a customer who never buys anything) trying to finagle a deal. "How much is shipping for the GE power cord?". "$8.00...that is great...I will take it". "Oh BTW I live in South Korea and $8.00 shipping is great. I didn't mention I live in Korea when I asked for shipping costs because I didn't see how it was relevant...". "Oh BTW, we use Schuko connectors here...I assume these come with Schuko connectors. If not you will have to pull the connectors off of these and put on new Schuko connectors before you send them to me." I was spending more time dealing with stuff like this than filling Matrix orders. No more...totally fed up. I will give it to friends for free. I will still gladly accept orders for new Graphene Extreme. If you are a repeat customer talk to me and I will take care of you on the trade ins (Not for FREE, though...). Sorry to vent but OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone, Bob from Cerious. I notice discussions regarding Graphene and I will not get technical. There is not now, nor will there ever be, a pure Graphene conductor. Anyone who says they have one is not truthful. However, used to maximize the strengths of the material it can do great things. We use Graphene to counter the problems with metal based materials. Period. Just wanted to shed some light there. Look for coming new stuff...we have been busy...
