Center Speaker as a “sound bar” or mono audio with a simple amp

ok I know y’all are not going to like this.. but I’m really just trying to make due with what I have and I’m tired of hearing my tv’s absolute trash audio. Could someone please help me in connecting an old center speaker to a Dual Channel amp? amp has 4 outputs- L (red/black) and R (red/black) Center speaker obviously has 2 inputs red/black. I’d be fine listening to mono as well I just can’t figure it out Thankyou

What 2 channel amplifier do you have? if it is bridgeable and your preamp has stereo/mono switch, it will be easily connect to a center speaker.
Op, just use one side. No biggie. Hook the center RCA to one channel, left or right on the power amp. Hook that same left or right speaker OUT to the speaker you want to power. Volume control? Where ever that CENTER speaker RCA is coming from, cable box, TV, something with a volume control..

You aren’t picky.. so have at it..

Regards
thankyou for your response, that’s how I have it set up now. neither my amp or tv seem to have a mono audio out option. So it is just send one side of the audio.
