Check out the January issue of Sound & Vision. There's an article on ceiling speakers, page 107.
Ceiling speakers for Home theater.....
Hello:
We are building our new home now and thought about having one room using ceiling speakers. This is also our pool table room, so regular speakers will not work. Any suggestions??????????
speakers, control, amps, etc..........thanks in advance

How about Thiel Power Points? I laughed the first time I saw them (literally), but I stopped laughing when they played. They make very good L/C/R speakers. For surrounds, you could use more PoewrPoints, or Triad makes good flush-mounts. This might not work spectacularly well for surround music, if you care, but it worked very well in my previous HT setup. (in a different house.) |
Hello! I have the same question. I was thinking of a ceiling loudspeaker system dedicated to listening to music but I didn't know which loudspeaker was best and best suited for listening to music. You have already used it, you can advise me. And I'm wondering between the ceiling speakers here (loa âm trần). Thank you. |
I have 11 Sonance in ceiling speakers through out my house. I don’t know if it makes a difference but I have a very high ceiling in my home theater room and my 5.1 system sounds really good. I have heard Paradigm ceiling speakers at the local hi end store and they were excellent, much better than Sonance |
