I had watched this movie during flight from Seattle to Seoul yesterday.
It is really wonderful story about guitar master who is not willing to sell his 6 million $ building on Manhattan to keep this shop.
The intermittent play by nice guitar players to test guitar offered in the shop are also amusing.
Highest recommendation to guitar aficionados.

I loved the movie. Some documentaries make you angry, others make you change your mind on something you didn't even know you had an opinion on. Others, like Carmine Street Guitars, just fill you with an overwhelming sense of tranquillity and joy. I remember the first time I heard about the documentary was in an article posted on https://ironageaccessories.com/collections/choosing-the-right-pick. I didn't pay much attention to it back then. I watched it later and realized what a great movie almost passed by me. |
