I once ran into a guy who told me he had a bad experience there (not going to go into details). I suspect the treatment afforded Rock star clients was not necessarily the rule.
Norman's Rare Guitars (documentary)
This documentary, now playing on Netflix, is simply amazing. It shows the history of the guitar shop that was ground zero for the vintage guitar movement on the West coast.
But it is so much more than that. A story of American ingenuity, and business, a love story, a death story, a family story. And, of course the musicians, actors, and just plain, unknown folks that hang out there. With Bonamossa, Orianthi, Ethridge, Sambora, Kingfish, and a stellar cast of famous, and not so famous, musicians and misfits. A truly unique story told with wit and insight. Highly recommended, for those who love music and gear heads alike.
