Of course it is....placing your totems in their proper relationships for the ceremonies that consecrate the space.....

As you arrange the ritual icons (acoustic treatments, et all...) the shrine becomes more important to attain the full resolution of the Ceremony....

The 'Laying of the Cables" is but one of the building blocks....for others, the 'Temporal Tweaking of the Shungite Symbols'....

(....and @ this point my tongue is so deep in cheek that it's beginning to block my hearing, not to mention being able to breathe.....;)....)

I used to love my 5.1 system....it was in my man cave basement, I had a couch ,recliner, and curved bar...On Satnight ,I would have a cocktail and relax....I miss it....
