Can McIntosh C2500 be converted to 240VAC Operation?

I downloaded the McIntosh C2500 service manual from elektrotanya.com:

On page 55 and 57 of the service manual show the jumpers (J1) for voltage selection, and I also found a photo of the C2500 inside view show 230/240v for J1:

Look like very easy to do the conversion.

Call either Audio Classics or McIntosh factory, both a 10 minute drive from one another.  I own a C2500 and from what I know, the power transformer needs to be replaced with a 220 volt one.   However, I have been known to be wrong many times.
