Cambridge Audio CXN V2

Hi, I am not sure where to put this. I have an extra streamer I don’t need.

i do have a question. I have Qobuz and Stream Magic and iPhone and MacBook. How could I smoothen a class D amplifier? It may be cleaner but my old MacIntosh is more full and clean. In fact, for $3,000 my new amp isn’t worth the upgrade. I thought if maybe I could increase the mid-base but the above at my disposal does not have such functionality. Not sure if anyone has used any equalizers that use xlr in and out? I am not crazy about adding another digital to audio converter into my music, or any component for all that matter. Maybe all equalizers function in analog. Any and all advice welcome

With due respect, your post is somewhat incoherent.  You start off talking about having a streamer, presumably the one mentioned in the thread title, and then veer off into discussing the differences between a Class BMcIntosh amp and Class D amps.  You appear to be asking if tone controls will help the sound of your Class D amp, and my short answer would be “not much”

Tone controls or DSP like that in Roon can almost always help tweak system to room and is much easier and cost effective than swapping out gear in a half baked effort to get a certain sound in a certain room.
