If the DAC is the same as the 851C which I own it’s very good. My 851C took sometime to really burn in so I wouldn’t judge one on a dealers floor unless they can tell you it has a lot of hours on it. Throw really good cables on it and for the money it’ll complete with players 2X if not 3Xs the price. Love mine.
