Cambridge Audio 851N Music player/DAC

I'm also interested on this matter.
Any other suggestions for high level music player/dac?
I would like to go with Mytek Brooklyn Dac+ but at the same time would not longer use a separate computer as transport/player, so one cabinet package would be my preferred route.

I heard the 851N at my dealer showroom ,it's not bad player but I felt that the inner DAC isn't great one.

If the DAC is the same as the 851C which I own it’s very good. My 851C took sometime to really burn in so I wouldn’t judge one on a dealers floor unless they can tell you it has a lot of hours on it. Throw really good cables on it and for the money it’ll complete with players 2X if not 3Xs the price. Love mine.

Maybe you right because I heard the 851C and it's a great CD player one of the best I ever heard .
