CABLE BOX TO WADIA CD PLAYER?

I HAVE BEEN ATTEMPTING TO PATCH THE MUSIC BROADCAST ON THE CABLE TV BOX TO MY WADIA 860 WITH NO LUCK. CAN IT BE DONE?

I use a Kimber D75 with RCA to BNC and it sounds pretty good, even better late at night when no one is watching TV. I had trouble with one box, so when I talked to one of the reps about it, he didn't believe me when I told him it used to work. He told me it wasn't supposed to work. All I did was replace the box, and I never had a problem.

My digital cable box (Scientific Atlanta) is that way. I asked the installer about it, and his comment was, "Well, the S-Video out works." That pretty much says it all . . . .
