Yes, I've used the digital out on my cable box to a Wadia 830 for about four years now. I use a Kimber D75 with RCA to BNC and it sounds pretty good, even better late at night when no one is watching TV. I had trouble with one box, so when I talked to one of the reps about it, he didn't believe me when I told him it used to work. He told me it wasn't supposed to work. All I did was replace the box, and I never had a problem.
