Buying SACDs in NYC, suggestions please...

I just refueled the SACD collection at Academy. More in about 2 weeks. Of course, those are not my favorites. ;-)

you should try Amazon.com and use their "one click" ordering. I find every SACD you could want and most are available used and in extremely good condition. I also order from Elusivedisc.com.

I think if you are shopping in NYC, Academy Records is a fine place to shop but I have never found a shop in NY or L.A. that has a substantial selection of SACD titles. Maybe in the UK but not at retail here. The internet is the only way to go.

I second J&R Music World. They have over 30,000 classical & 17,000 Jazz titles, however, SACD's for both Classical and Jazz combined are below 1,000 titles. Here is their web site for you to peruse.
