Buying b&w 803 d3’s and keeping 804’s as rears

Is this overkill in rear area to use 804 d3’s?  Wanted to upgrade to 803 and thought about selling 804s but selling for so substantially less than I paid is sad.  Already have b&w center.  So how will all this work for a 5 channel system.

my 5.1 system is in another room than is my 2 channel setup.   I only listen to movies on the 5.1....never music.

Thanks, I like same room for stereo and 5 channel as I like seeing video screen on while stereo plays. And now with fake crowd noise for some sports I play stereo, and now hearing fake crowd noise for open tennis and it’s horrifying.

amplification is McIntosh 5 channel amp. Thru a marantz 5014 avr.
