Yes, it's identical to the BDA-3. The HDMI slots are just empty.

I found this DAC for sale and bought it. It’s the BDA-3 without the HDMI inputs, which I never envision needing. I found mine very lightly used for a fantastic price, but retail is about $600 less than the original. It seems to be available exclusively at Audio Advisor and Brystons website doesn’t mention it.
I’ve been considering it for a while but didn’t want to pay for 4 inputs I’ll never use.
It’s a great DAC as all the reviews and forum posts attest so I don’t have much to add. I’m loving it!
It actually completes all my electronic component upgrades for the foreseeable future. I suppose if I live long enough I might want to try some future technology changes but otherwise I’m done.
I can foresee a pair of ATC SCM50 in my future but I would likely get the active version so no new amps.
