Bluesound node confusion

I was hoping to get some help determining the differences between the different versions of the node. First gen .,second gen., 2i in between, n 130,n132?

have a second system with some klipsch rp600m II an old outlaw pre/pro and would like to stream on the cheap. Using a slash 6 and my phone with iTunes and it’s pretty rough sounding in the front end. I’ve never had a dedicated streamer and thought this would be a good way to get my feet wet.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

I've used a Bluesound Node 130 for several years with a system that some here would say deserves a much more expensive streamer.  I did add an external power supply and use an external DAC, and it sounds very good.  The BluOS app is one of the better ones, and that is an important consideration in choosing a streamer.

You might find the internal DAC on the 130 or later Nodes quite acceptable.  I thought it was comparable to a Denafrips Ares II DAC, which many have raved about.
